National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO)
Crane operators certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators undergo intense programs and an exam to test their knowledge of the crane industry. With this certification, you can be sure that the crane operator you’re working with possesses the necessary fundamental knowledge and skills needed to safely and efficiently operate a crane. For more than 20 years, successful completion of the certification requirements has informed the world that a crane operator is certified to the high standards of NCCCO.
Class 7c Operating Engineer (Washington, DC)
Requiring 2 years of experience and the knowledge to take charge and operate a crane, this Washington, DC certification ensures all crane operators working within the district have the necessary skill to complete jobs while abiding by OSHA standards and local laws.
Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP)
As the only safety certification in the tree care industry, the CTSP can really be useful on a job site where a crane is needed to remove or prune a tree. Requiring three years of field experience with at least one year of assumed responsibility for safety, this certification gives you crane operator the experience and knowledge to safely and efficiently perform crane removal and crane pruning jobs in the tree care industry.
